Role:
Are you looking for a new challenge as a Linux / Kubernetes System Engineer? In this role, you take responsibility for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Linux and Kubernetes systems. You are responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of these systems. As a senior expert, you bring your extensive knowledge and experience to the role to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions. You are ready to apply your skills at the highest level and advance your career as a Linux / Kubernetes System Engineer.
Responsibilities:
You develop and maintain the container platform in the OnPrem area with Rancher as well as MS AKS on Azure
In this role, you contribute your experience as a System Engineer in the Linux systems area
As a Kubernetes Platform Engineer, you are responsible for the further development and operation of your systems
You solve problems, mitigate risks, and list options and solutions
You document, optimise, and automate tasks that repeat for customers with similar needs
You act as the second and third level support for the customer and as a sparring partner within the team
Qualifications:
- You have a higher education in computer science and/or several years of professional experience in Linux or infrastructure engineering
- You bring solid Linux knowledge as well as experience in operating productive infrastructures
- You have experience in one or more infrastructure topics such as automation, container platforms, reverse proxy/WAF, backup/restore, logging, or storage
- You possess a strong awareness of IT security and security-relevant aspects in infrastructure operations
- You work independently, structured, and responsibly and enjoy continuous improvement and automation of infrastructure services
- You have a strong customer, service, and team orientation as well as a willingness to share knowledge, take joint responsibility, and work in a self-organised environment
