For our educational offerings at the Otelfingen location (Zurich region / Zurich lowlands), we are looking for an immediate or agreed start for a
Work Educator 80-100% (m/f/d)
Your area of responsibility
- Leading learning groups in the workshop (wood and metal), in physical education, and on excursions
- Developing new products and projects to purposefully promote young people in the craft sector as well as in topics of professional and social integration
- Planning work processes, their coordination, and work preparation
Guidance, support, and supervision of young people in work processes and project weeks
- Work observations and evaluations of participants including feedback
- Individual coaching of single participants
- Class assistance to relieve teachers in math, ABU, and/or German
- Preparation of file notes, interim, and final reports
Your profile
- Basic craft training with further education in agogy, social pedagogy, social work; coach, SVEB1 or teaching diploma for technical design
- Teaching experience with heterogeneous learning groups of adolescents and young adults
- Even in challenging situations, you keep an overview, react flexibly and solution-oriented, thus contributing to a stable and supportive work environment
- Experience in report writing as well as good oral and written communication skills
- Humorous, committed person with leadership qualities and high intercultural, social competence
- Enjoyment and willingness to continuously further educate and develop yourself
