Modern Workplace Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
The digital workplace is evolving from the classic PC workstation to an intelligent cloud platform. We are looking for a Microsoft specialist who designs modern workplace technologies, automates device management, and technically advances the connection between security, identity, and user experience.
Responsibilities:
Design and further development of a modern Microsoft workplace platform
Planning and administration of a central endpoint management strategy with Microsoft Intune
Automation of device provisioning, software distribution, configuration, and lifecycle management
Further development of Microsoft 365 and cloud-based collaboration services
Support and optimisation of Windows 11 Enterprise environments
Conceptualisation of modern endpoint security and compliance standards
Further development of identity and access management with Microsoft Entra ID
Implementation of conditional access, device compliance, and modern authentication concepts
Automation of workplace processes with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph
Analysis and optimisation of the digital user experience
Planning and implementation of workplace migrations and technological transformations
Development of standardised solutions for deployment, patch management, and software lifecycle
Collaboration with cyber security, cloud engineering, and service management
Evaluation of new Microsoft technologies and integration of suitable innovations into productive operation
Creation of technical standards, concepts, and documentation
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in modern workplace, endpoint engineering, or Microsoft system engineering
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Windows 10/11
Solid experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID
Practical knowledge in endpoint security, device management, and compliance
Good PowerShell skills and enthusiasm for automation
Understanding of cloud-based IT architectures and modern identity concepts
Experience with Microsoft Autopilot and automated device provisioning
Ideally knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Graph
Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
Enjoyment in replacing classic IT processes with modern cloud and automation solutions
