Tasks and Responsibilities
Take on the role of ambassador for the theatre with the main missions of providing access to art, giving access to its voice, and enabling community building by designing and implementing cultural action projects, mainly aimed at pupils, seniors, institutions and associations, but also people affected in their mental health. Promote the institution’s programme to institutional, associative and cultural partners by working with diverse audiences. Create and offer mediation around performances taking into account the specificities of the audiences welcomed. Participate in prospecting and developing new partnerships thanks to your network in the social, art and culture fields. Ensure the implementation and coordination of projects and be proactive regarding the programming of the Pont des Arts.
Profile and Required Skills
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in the artistic field, educational sciences, social work or an equivalent qualification. You have training or experience in mediation in the cultural sector as well as in project management. You know the French-speaking Swiss landscape related to the school system and are familiar with institutions for senior audiences. You know how to communicate and interact with all audiences, without exception. You are organised and proactive, while having excellent interpersonal skills and ease working both autonomously and in a team. You are adaptable, solution-oriented and appreciate working in multidisciplinary teams while managing unforeseen events. The hours are regular, but you will be required to work hours related to theatre life, that is to say evenings, weekends and public holidays. While technical skills and experience are essential for this position, La Comédie de Genève places importance on human skills and respect for values of hospitality and open-mindedness.

Start date: January 2027 (handover planned between November and December)
