The Schulstrasse school is one of the 6 school units in Schlieren and currently runs a double kindergarten, 3 lower-level classes, 6 middle-level classes, and an intake class. We are a QUIMS school, whose focus is on language promotion, social integration, and school success. From August 1, 2026, we are looking for
a co-class teacher for our primary intake class
Employment level approx. 44% (12 teaching hours)
The intake class for grades 2 to 6 offers children who have newly immigrated to Switzerland and have no German skills yet an ideal opportunity to learn the language and find their way around their new environment. Attending this class not only supports the development of the second language but also promotes integration and thus strengthens the foundation for school success. Within about a year, we specifically prepare the children for the transition to a regular class.
You
- are a trained teacher, ideally with additional training in German as a second language (DaZ). enjoy working with children from different cultures.
