About the job
The counseling center is part of a dynamic network of professional services of the Foundation for Addiction Support Region Basel. We advise and support individuals of all ages who are at risk of addiction or dependent on addictive substances, as well as their environment. We are important contacts and partners for authorities, social institutions, schools, as well as medical and psychiatric practices.

We are looking for a male or female psychologist starting August 1, 2026, or by arrangement
Your tasks
- Advising and supporting individuals with addiction issues and their environment
- Outpatient psychological support for individuals with dual diagnoses
- Family, couple, and relative counseling
- Individual therapeutic work with adolescents and young adults
- Leading group offerings in a collegial tandem
- Occasional psychodiagnostic assessment
- Coaching social work staff on diagnostic and psychological questions
Your profile
- Completed university degree in psychology / FSP
- Additional therapeutic training (completed or in training), e.g., family/systemic therapy
- Professional experience in addiction, youth, and family counseling
- Experience working with referred clients
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and counseling work in the addiction field
- Flexibility, independence, commitment, resilience
- "Stability" and creativity in dealing with difficult situations and topics
- Good IT user skills (Office and client database)
