The Student Secretariat is the central contact point within Student Services for administrative questions related to studies and is responsible for the admission and enrollment of students and doctoral candidates. We are looking for an Administrative Officer starting October 1, 2026, or by agreement.
The range of tasks is diverse and includes demanding activities as well as routine work. Thorough training in the subject matter is a matter of course for us. The willingness to familiarize yourself with the legal foundations of study administration and to become acquainted with the university environment is essential. The activity also requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team, close cooperation with other university departments, as well as enjoyment in dealing with the student clientele.

Your tasks
- Fee collection and cash management (main responsibility)
- Management of the Student Secretariat archive (main responsibility)
- Processing applications for admission to the Bachelor's degree with a Swiss prior education certificate
- Assistance at the information desk and telephone service (German and English)
- Responding to support inquiries (German and English)
- Maintenance of student master data
- Support of the deputy head in various areas

Your profile
You have a very good commercial qualification (EFZ). In addition, we expect professional experience (2-3 years) in administration and good knowledge in accounting/financial accounting. Besides an interest in the higher education sector, you bring an independent and precise working style. Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written, are a central prerequisite for this position. You are proficient in the use of MS Office programs and willing to familiarize yourself with specific IT applications (e.g., SAP).We offer you
