Network Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Keeping networks stable across national borders requires expertise and foresight. This is exactly where the position of Network Infrastructure Engineer comes in. You keep the entire network landscape running and actively shape it. Your own concepts are created at your desk and then implemented together with colleagues from infrastructure and security. Project responsibility awaits you.
Responsibilities:
You continuously develop the nationally and internationally distributed network landscape
You configure firewalls, switches, and routers and replace components according to lifecycle plans
Additionally, you provide technical leadership around telephony, encryption, and the WLAN infrastructure
You lead projects, develop solution concepts, and procure services from external partners
Furthermore, you handle requests in 2nd and 3rd level support
You also ensure compliance with IT standards and occasionally take on on-call duties
Qualifications:
You have a degree in computer science at HF or FH level
You have several years of experience in network or system environments
You are interested in technical innovations and enjoy acquiring knowledge in your daily work
Furthermore, you work independently, remain calm under pressure, and are flexible
You work in a structured manner and place internal customers at the centre
You have native-level German and use English confidently in daily work
