A project at the heart of Romandy schools
The CIIP coordinates education and culture in French-speaking Switzerland, with support from Ticino, from its General Secretariat in Neuchâtel. With this new MER collection, it provides teachers and pupils throughout French-speaking Switzerland with common teaching resources, serving the harmonisation of compulsory schooling.
Your responsibilities
In close collaboration with the publishing director, you will:
- participate in project planning and establish the editorial work schedule, keeping tracking tools up to date;
- monitor the budget: participate in its preparation, ensure compliance with the set framework, prepare financial data useful for decisions;
- draft contracts, agreements and mandates, and participate in hiring publishing service providers;
- coordinate the production of printed material (illustrations, layout, proofreading, delivery of files to the printer) as well as the management of copyright and iconography;
- support the editorial team: working tools, plenary sessions, training seminars and team dynamics;
- serve as secretary to the quality commission and support the testing of the MER;
- contribute to the communication strategy related to the introduction of the MER.

Your profile
Holder of a degree from a higher education institution (university, university of applied sciences or teacher training college) related to publishing, communication, project management or teaching, or an equivalent qualification or experience, you are motivated by the design of teaching materials. You have:
- experience in project management, preferably complemented by specific training;
- experience in an institutional work environment;
- a good knowledge of the editorial chain, preferably in school publishing;
- experience in managing cantonal or even intercantonal projects is an asset;
- knowledge of copyright law and contract drafting is an advantage;
- a strong sense of organisation and rigorous respect for deadlines and budgets;
- negotiation skills and a keen understanding of political, strategic and financial issues;
- great ease with office and planning tools;
- a structured, analytical and synthetic mind;
- integrity, loyalty and interpersonal skills;
- flexibility and good stress resistance.
