An experienced professional is sought for the operation and further development of highly available network infrastructures. The position combines classic network engineering with modern automation and offers the opportunity to actively develop demanding network environments.
You will work on L2/L3 infrastructures, accompany technical concepts, and ensure reliable operation together with the team. Additionally, you will contribute your know-how in automation and support internal teams as well as customers with technical queries.
Responsibilities:
Design, implementation, and further development of complex L2/L3 network infrastructures
Participation in the conception, optimisation, and operation of existing network environments
Development and operation of solutions for network automation
Analysis and resolution of complex faults during ongoing operations as well as on-call service
Technical support and knowledge transfer for internal teams, operations, and field support
Consulting and training of customers on network-related issues
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, HF, FH or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in network engineering
Sound knowledge of WAN and LAN technologies as well as relevant network protocols
Experience with network automation, ideally Python and Ansible
Independent, solution-oriented, and eager to learn personality
Very good German and English skills as well as strong team and service orientation
