Tasks
• handling air freight shipments
• preparing transport and customs documents
• coordinating and monitoring transports
• calculating freight rates and offers
• maintaining customer contacts and relationships
• processing customer enquiries and complaints
• organising pre- and/or post-carriage
• communicating with airlines, transport partners and authorities
• monitoring customs and dangerous goods regulations
• preparing billing and invoicing
• checking and updating freight data in the system
• supporting the optimisation of logistics processes
• conducting negotiations with service providers
• ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
• planning and coordinating special or express transports
• analysing and monitoring market trends
Requirements
• completed training as a freight forwarding clerk or comparable qualification
• sound knowledge in the field of air freight forwarding
• good knowledge of international customs and dangerous goods regulations
• strong customer orientation and communication skills
• organisational talent and structured working method
IT Skills
MS Office - good knowledge
Languages
German: mother tongue + very good
English: mother tongue + good to very good
