Your working environment

The Swisslos Fund Office acts as an important funding body of the Canton of Aargau in the area of charitable projects in all fields except sport (culture, youth and education, education and research, healthcare and social services, environment and landscape, development cooperation and humanitarian aid as well as other charitable projects) and is located within the Culture Department. The Culture Department provides broad access to culture and history for the population, promotes cultural creation and preserves cultural heritage. The canton-owned institutions Aargauer Kunsthaus, Museum Aargau, State Archive, Cantonal Library as well as the Cantonal Monument Preservation, Cantonal Archaeology, the office of the Aargau Curatorium and the Cultural Mediation Office are also grouped within the department.
