POSITION SUMMARY
Carry out projects related to the housekeeping service activity and respond to special client requests. Maintain and clean common areas such as restaurants, bar, spa, patio, reception, corridors, as well as the hotel’s back of house common areas, methodically following the work schedule and established checklists.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Reading, writing in French and oral comprehension of English
2. Ability to work independently and manage priorities during the day
3. Comfortable interacting with clients
4. Neat and tidy appearance with excellent interpersonal skills
5. Flexible and available for working hours
6. Rigorous and organized
7. Proactive and a good ambassador with other departments and colleagues
8. Possess interpersonal qualities such as team spirit and integrity
JOB FUNCTIONS
Must maintain exemplary conduct during working hours and whenever present at the workplace.
Must comply with all conduct standards and hotel regulations.
Must respect hygiene and safety rules as well as quality criteria and procedures within the service.
Must be punctual, diligent, and notify the service by general phone in case of problems or delays.
Commits to clocking in and out at the start and end of shifts and breaks, including additional breaks.
Commits to communicating their DECT number on the daily situation sheet.
Responsible for their master key issued on the first day at the hotel.
Ensures perfect maintenance of their uniform, returning dirty uniforms to laundry and collecting clean ones before shifts.
Calls the housekeeper to inform about breaks. If tasks are completed, communicates with the housekeeper for next assignments.
Respects the iPod with Hotsos software installed, commits to properly starting and closing interventions.
If found objects in rooms or common areas, commits to informing the housekeeper, office, and security, and will bring items to the office.
Must follow instructions for use of cleaning products, respect materials and surfaces where used.
Must wear gloves when using products and use a secure step ladder if fixing an item.
Must respect cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet machines, scent machines, and pressure washers.
Commits to specific cleanings such as heights, floors, windows, terraces, and exterior blinds.
Commits to reporting technical problems encountered in rooms, offices, corridors to the housekeeper/duty manager and report any malfunctions, anomalies, or damages, and announce shortages of materials and products.
Immediately communicates any client complaints to the housekeeper.
Spontaneously offers assistance to clients encountered.
Responsible for keeping offices perfectly tidy and clean.
Delivers clean linen carts to floors and distributes them neatly (bath and flat sheets as well as F&B linen).
Handles stock deliveries in offices for products needed by chambermaids for rooms.
Supervises stocks and maintains offices and operational materials without interruption.
Delivers flower bouquets.
Transports additional equipment to rooms.
Ensures cleanliness of corridors frequented by clients by vacuuming, cleaning elevator rails, dusting frames, sconces, mirrors, and furniture in corridors.
Removes trash respecting recycling order.
Performs additional tasks as requested by supervisor.
Supervises team members’ tasks in the absence of floor housekeepers.
Proposes improvements to work organization.
Ensures training of new team members.
Maintains a positive and enthusiastic attitude to create good team spirit.
Participates in collective effort to convey an image of work and excellence to colleagues and supervisors.
Has a sense of responsibility related to the role.
Adopts discretion and good manners with clients and colleagues.
Takes charge of training new arrivals.
Assists other departments upon request from hierarchical superiors to deliver professional service.
