What you can achieve

• Planning, development and optimisation of integration solutions for complex ICT platforms with a focus on stable and efficient system landscapes
• Automation of development and operational processes as well as further development of CI/CD-related deployments and integration workflows
• Development of scripts, interfaces and technical integrations between applications, components and modules
• Responsibility for API design and management as well as processing of data formats and data transformations
• Setup and support of messaging, event streaming and ETL processes as well as integration of modern IPaaS solutions
• Ensuring the required development, test and production systems including networks and container platforms
• Monitoring availability, performance, recoverability and resource consumption of applications as well as troubleshooting and monitoring
• Maintenance and further development of system technical documentation

What you bring with you

• Degree in computer science or apprenticeship as an ICT specialist EFZ or technically skilled career changer with corresponding further education and professional experience
• Solid experience in the field of integrations, interface management and automation of system landscapes
• Knowledge in API design, data formats, data transformation as well as messaging and event streaming technologies
• Experience with GitLab as well as automation tools such as CI/CD, Ansible or Terraform
• Experience with container and virtualisation technologies as well as ideally with Kubernetes, VMware and Nutanix
• Analytical, independent and proactive working style with a strong solution orientation
• Fluent German skills; English and/or French skills are an advantage
• Experience in regulated industries is an advantage
• Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage

The Business Area C5I of RUAG MRO Holding AG supports the Swiss Army in the implementation of ICT projects with a specific focus on the Cyber Command.
