About the job
Your tasks include
- Building a stable, trusting relationship with the children and parents
- Designing and accompanying the daily routine (e.g. greeting rituals, shared meals, leisure activities, social learning, experiential education, group activities, holiday activities)
- Promoting social skills, e.g. conflict resolution, communication, empathy
- Guiding and moderating group games, creative offers or projects
- Strengthening self-awareness and self-esteem
- Collaboration with parents, caregivers, and professionals
- Support with family issues or parenting questions
- Collaboration with therapists, doctors, and teachers
- Support in emotionally stressful situations
- Participation in de-escalation strategies
- Participation in case discussions and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Documentation of pedagogical work and developmental progress
- Promotion of the children’s resources
- Development and co-design of the Graubünden standard in the day clinic
You bring with you
- A degree in social pedagogy HF or as a psychiatric nursing specialist HF
- Experience working with children, ideally in clinical, curative education or psychotherapeutic contexts
- A positive attitude with an infectious "can do" spirit
- Desire and energy to shape something, combined with strong decision-making skills and the intuition to know when team consultations are needed and when not
- Lots of interconnected thinking and great skill in interprofessional collaboration
