About the job
As a specialist in customer logistics, you are a central contact person for the operational management and coordination of our customer logistics activities with a special focus on Valser Service and the spirits sector. You support our internal and external partners with operational, process-related and system-related issues, ensure smooth workflows and drive their continuous optimisation. In doing so, you ensure an efficient flow of information and make a significant contribution to high service quality and customer satisfaction. A key focus of your role is supporting Valser Service with order matters and ensuring professional and customer-oriented order processing.
YOUR TASKS
• Independent support and coordination to ensure orders with a focus on Valser Service and spirits and coordination within the Customer Logistics team
• Identification and independent resolution of problems in unclear or suboptimally defined processes
• Processing, analysing and coordinating disruptions and problem cases
• Handling cross-departmental enquiries, especially in connection with Valser Service, finance, sales, inventory changes and other system-related topics
• Clarification and resolution of problems with incorrect orders as well as handling enquiries from the Customer Logistics area
• Support with various operational and cross-departmental supply chain topics
• Processing and coordination of work cycles and orders (purchase orders)
• Analysis and correction of integration and interface errors
• Preparation of delivery plans for spirits promotions, coordination with customers, as well as coordination activities with the planning department
• Close cooperation with internal and external contacts as well as with customers via e-mail and telephone to ensure a smooth flow of information
• Creation and analysis of reports
• Participation in various projects in the areas of supply chain and commercial
• Building and maintaining contacts with internal and existing external customers
• Support in implementing new processes in the logistics back office to increase efficiency and improve the service level towards customers
• Support in process and system testing for Valser Service and spirits
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
• Completed studies (university/FH) or a comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience, ideally in supply chain, logistics, customer logistics or warehouse management
• Good understanding of supply chain processes and goods flows
• Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA; experience in inventory management, order management and haulages is an advantage
• Knowledge of Salesforce or comparable business applications is an advantage
• Good understanding of system interfaces and integrations
• Experience in analysing and solving process and system problems
• Experience in dealing with disruptions, problem cases or incident management
• Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Confident manner and the ability to deal professionally with different interests and demanding situations
• Analytical understanding as well as enjoyment of numbers and complex contexts
• Holistic, conceptual and networked thinking
• Very good German and French skills, both spoken and written
• English and Italian skills are an advantage
