We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our shop floor across several areas in the New Engines department at Zurich-Airport. As a Supervisor in New Engines (LEAP or GTF) you will be responsible for the development and management of a highly effective Team of approximately 20 to 25 employees, striving for safety and quality, while delivering in time and on cost expectations. You will coordinate the team’s work with its direct stakeholders at SR Technics to the goals and missions of the organization.Your tasks
- Promote a positive Safety Culture and ensure that Safety and Quality Policy are communicated/promoted and implemented within the Organization, to include Airworthiness Directives, manuals and documentation
- Lead and manage a multi-cultural team, fostering performance, engagement, and a positive work environment
- Drive performance culture through periodic target setting and regular structured follow up with all employees. Apply performance management process (PMP) and leadership with a focus on employee motivationPlan and allocate resources to ensure high productivity and monitor labor efficiency combine with the bullet below
- Drive personnel development and skill management to meet capacity requirements (OJT, qualifications, certifications, performance evaluations)
- Execute and promote Continuous Improvements in applying Lean principles and 5S to achieve the organization targets and key performance indicators (KPI)
- Participate in, prepare for and be responsible for internal and external audits in your area, ensuring implementation of corrective actions and compliance improvements
Your Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, including proven
leadership/management responsibilities, MRO experience preferred - Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of operational processes and higher-level interdependencies within
manufacturing environments - Proactive, independent, and self-initiated working style with high performance drive and with a strong focus on Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Proficiency with maintenance documentation systems. Microsoft Office required; SAP is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with English proficiency at minimum B2 level (German is a plus)
