Avenir Group develops and implements integrated services and solutions in Human Resource Management. With locations in Zurich, Bern, Basel, Lucerne, Chur and Lausanne, we jointly move people and organisations through demanding change and development processes.

To further develop our digital solutions, we are looking for a committed individual from January 2027 or by arrangement as

Full Stack Developer (60-80%)
with a focus on (further) development & maintenance of internal web applications

Your tasks

• Maintenance and further development of our PHP application (Symfony/Doctrine)

• Care and expansion of our Angular and React frontends

• Debugging across the entire stack – from the database to the UI

• Collaboration in expanding our deployment pipeline in Azure DevOps

• Smaller feature developments after familiarisation, coordinated with the Product Owners

• Independent familiarisation with new languages and tools, supported by AI tools

Your profile

• Solid fundamentals in TypeScript/JavaScript as well as Angular or React

• Initial practical experience in backend with C#/.NET or PHP – one of these is sufficient

• Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL or comparable)

• Completed training (EFZ application/platform development, computer science degree or similar) or ongoing studies

• (Cost-) efficient and confident use of AI coding tools

• Independent, proactive and pragmatic working style

More important than the perfect stack: You show us that you teach yourself new languages and frameworks with discipline and AI support. You may not yet know PHP – but you can demonstrate how you learn new things.

Nice to have

• Experience with PHP, Symfony and Doctrine ORM

• Knowledge of Terraform, Bicep or Infrastructure as Code

• Exposure to Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines

Conditions
