Internship Advanced Mechatronic Systems
As an Intern, you will contribute to the development and verification of advanced mechatronic systems used in semiconductor manufacturing.
You will work closely with experienced engineers to implement, test, and optimize control algorithms in a real industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement advanced control algorithms using MATLAB & Simulink.
- Develop and execute test scenarios to verify new actuator control algorithms.
- Analyze system performance and compare new solutions with existing control concepts.
- Support the transfer of validated algorithms into industrial control systems.
- Assist in the development and optimization of mechatronic test environments.
- Document technical results, testing activities, and engineering recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Good programming skills in C, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Basic knowledge of mechatronic systems and control engineering.
- Understanding of system modeling and simulation principles.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an engineering team.
- Good communication skills in English; German is considered an advantage.
