About the job
As Assistant Banquet Operation Manager, you ensure the optimal organization of the entire Meetings & Events area in line with guest expectations and economic efficiency, which also includes
- Central contact person for smaller and larger events and operational support on site
- Support of meetings and events during execution as well as coordination of all involved support departments such as service, technology, and logistics
- Ensuring high guest satisfaction through active monitoring of service quality during events
- Planning and coordination of all orders for events as well as monitoring of processes
- Creation and coordination of function sheets and ensuring that all involved departments are informed in a timely manner
- Optimization of operational processes in the banquet area considering efficiency and cost-effectiveness
You have training in hospitality or gastronomy and bring experience in the banquet or event sector. Additionally, you bring
- Initial experience in organizing and executing events in upscale hospitality or gastronomy
- Good understanding of operational processes as well as economic contexts in the event sector
- Structured working style and the ability to keep an overview and set priorities even in hectic situations
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Team-oriented collaboration with various departments such as kitchen, service, and technology
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
