Software Technician (m/f/d)
Job Overview
As a Software Specialist, you play a key role in the deployment, configuration and support of our access control solutions. You work with our clients to ensure the implementation of software platforms, the integration of associated infrastructures and user support throughout the project lifecycle.
You collaborate closely with project teams, field technicians, our partners and clients to ensure reliable, secure and high-performance installations.
What you will do
- Carry out the installation, configuration and migration of our access control software at client sites.
- Ensure the setup, integration and commissioning of software solutions within clients’ IT infrastructures.
- Participate in the creation, configuration and administration of server and network environments necessary for the operation of our systems.
- Coordinate technical activities with clients’ IT teams, project managers and external partners.
- Provide level 1 and 2 technical support for software solutions.
- Support our technicians and partners during deployment and commissioning phases.
- Perform technical analyses, diagnostics and incident resolutions.
- Train client users and administrators in the use of our solutions.
What we require
- Higher education in computer science (CFC, ES/ET, HES or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role focused on software, infrastructures or systems.
- Excellent knowledge of IT infrastructures and computer networks.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and virtualised environments.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Additional skills in implementing and managing backup solutions and deploying and managing IT monitoring solutions will be highly appreciated.
- Experience in electronic security systems, access control, video surveillance or identity management is a significant advantage.
- Excellent customer service skills, autonomy and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Availability for travel to clients in French-speaking Switzerland.
- Valid driving licence.
- Good command of French as well as English and/or German.
