After thorough training, you will take responsibility for the purchase and sale of roundwood. You identify suitable procurement opportunities, find the appropriate sales channels, and accompany the transactions from the first contact to successful delivery. Your workplace is where the business happens: most of the time you will be travelling to suppliers, customers, and trading partners in Switzerland and Europe.

Together with management, you will further develop existing business relationships and open up new opportunities in the Swiss and European markets.

Your responsibilities:

- You buy and sell roundwood in Switzerland and Europe

- You assess tree species, qualities, dimensions, uses, and market potentials

- You maintain decades-long business relationships and acquire new suppliers, customers, and trading partners

- You negotiate prices, quantities, qualities, and delivery terms in coordination with management

- You monitor market developments and recognise changes in supply, demand, and prices
