What you will do with us

In the Human Resources department, you are the central contact person for all questions regarding vocational education and training. You support and advise the line management on everyday matters related to vocational education and training and are responsible for internal events for trainers as well as all municipal apprentices from 15 different professions. Furthermore, you assist in the training of interns in the Human Resources department and carry out administrative tasks.

What you ideally bring with you

• Completed initial training and several years of professional experience in the administrative field
• Ideally additional training or extensive experience in vocational education and training, pedagogy, HR or similar
• Ideally experience as a vocational or practical trainer
• Strong social skills and the ability to deal with different stakeholders
• Solid language skills in German and French, at least spoken

The Human Resources Department of the City of Biel acts as the hub for all internal personnel matters. We advise and support the entire organisation on vocational education and training issues and are also the first point of contact for over 100 municipal apprentices across all professional fields. You can expect a young, bilingual team.
