Junior SAP System Engineer
Responsibilities
- You ensure that our SAP systems run stably and the quality is right. At the same time, you have the freedom to do things anew and better.
- You support the coordination of our IT service providers and accompany the implementation of technical requirements.
- You keep an eye on our system landscape (monitoring), analytically investigate technical faults (troubleshooting), and ensure smooth operation.
- We don’t leave you alone! You build know-how in SAP basis and operational topics and actively share this knowledge within the team.
- You independently implement small solutions and adjustments (e.g. in ABAP or Fiori) or work side by side with our business analysts.
- You scrutinise existing processes, identify optimisation potential, and drive improvements together with the business.
- You help keep our system documentation and knowledge databases up to date and further develop them.
- You are actively involved and contribute your ideas on how we can advance our exciting SAP cloud journey.
Requirements
- A completed degree (university/FH/HF) in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification.
- You have already had initial contact with SAP (e.g. during studies, internship, or first job) and are really keen on modern topics such as BTP, RISE, hyperscalers, or development. You don’t have to know everything yet; your willingness to learn counts!
- You understand the technology but also want to know how the business department ticks to create real added value.
- You approach challenges analytically, work in a structured way, and always look for the best solution.
- You are a translator between worlds: you speak the language of developers as fluently as that of the business departments.
- Very good German and English skills.
