The foundation «focus youth» is a modern center for special education in the Solothurn area and offers diverse and attractive school and residential options for young people with special care needs. Around 240 professionals are committed at various locations with the central concern of supporting the integration of clients into regular school, family, society, and the professional world.

To complement our school, we are looking for a teacher Cycle 1, special offer preparatory class (SpezA VK) immediately or by arrangement.

Teacher Cycle 1 (Basic Level, currently 1st and 2nd Grade), 80-100%

Actively participate in...

• Teaching a heterogeneous group of 7 – 9 children and their individualized support
• Resource-oriented lesson planning
• A large part of the teaching is conducted in team teaching
• The class leadership and responsibility is carried by the entire teaching team
• Individual support and class administration are discussed, divided, and completed within the team
• An experienced teacher is already working in this class
• Collaboration in the internal multidisciplinary support team (school, social pedagogy, therapy)
• Participation and implementation in the planning of camps, project weeks, and special events
