Network and Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF85,000 - 110,000Role:
Networks are the backbone of every IT landscape. As a Network and Security Engineer, you plan, build and maintain complex data networks for various clients. You can expect a varied mix of project work, operations and troubleshooting. Your own lab gives you space to test new hardware and features and to develop your technical skills further.
Responsibilities:
You plan, install and configure network environments with switching, routing, wireless and network access control (NAC)
You take on operation, monitoring and support of customer networks
Furthermore, you analyse faults and resolve them directly at the customer site
You create concepts and keep system documentation up to date
Additionally, you administer provider connections
You also test new technologies in the lab and deliberately expand your know-how
Qualifications:
You have completed a technical education in the field of computer science
Further training or certifications in the areas of network and IT security complement your profile
You are familiar with solutions from common network and firewall manufacturers, such as Fortinet
Experience with network automation and orchestration, for example Python or Ansible, is a plus
You communicate confidently in German and manage well in technical English
In addition, you think customer-oriented, show time flexibility for assignments outside regular working hours and hold a category B driving licence
