Execution Officer for Penal and Measure Enforcement (a)
80 - 100% | Lucerne | Home office possible by arrangement
The Enforcement and Probation Service of the Canton of Lucerne executes court judgments as well as penal orders from the public prosecutors. As an execution officer, you ensure that sentences and measures are enforced – in contact with the convicted persons and with attention to the individual case.
Your tasks
- You take responsibility for cases involving substitute custodial sentences and custodial sentences with low risk potential.
- You coordinate the enforcement of custodial sentences as well as alternative penal enforcement and document this in enforcement orders and mandates.
- You carefully review applications for leave, conditional releases, etc. from convicted persons and decide on the further procedure.
- You formulate all decisions in sanction enforcement carefully and comprehensibly in the form of orders – including prior legal hearing.
- You maintain personal and telephone contact with convicted persons as well as with enforcement institutions.
- You review and decide on requests for special enforcement forms such as semi-detention, electronic monitoring, or community service.
Your profile
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship (EFZ) or possess equivalent commercial knowledge.
- Ideally, you have professional experience in administration or justice.
- Confident MS Office skills (ideally complemented by Juris) and a fluent written expression are part of your toolkit.
- Flexibility and a quick grasp help you to quickly understand changing cases and situations.
- You hold a category B driving licence.
