For a successful, owner-managed Swiss SME, we are seeking an entrepreneurial and strong leadership personality as Head of Finance and Services (m/f/d). In this versatile key position, you will assume overall responsibility for the core administrative areas and contribute significantly to the further development and professionalisation of the organisation. As a member of the management team, you will work closely with the company leadership, make a substantial contribution to the sustainable development of the company, and act as a trusted sparring partner in both operational and strategic matters.

Head of Finance and Services (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Responsibility for human resources including personnel administration, employee development, and HR process optimisation
• Responsibility for the finance and accounting of the corporate group including budgeting, financial statements, consolidation, liquidity planning, and controlling
• Leadership and further development of administrative processes, systems, and structures
• Optimisation and digitalisation of workflows as well as promotion of an efficient and future-oriented organisation
• Close collaboration with the management team on operational and strategic issues as well as acting as a sparring partner for the CEO
• Active support of operational areas with the aim of simplifying administrative processes and relieving employees in day-to-day business

Your profile

• Advanced commercial or business administration education or a comparable further qualification with solid experience in finance, organisation, HR, and business processes as well as several years of experience in a comparable leadership role
• Broad understanding of personnel, finance, organisation, and business processes
• Strong hands-on mentality combined with strategic thinking ability
• High social competence, trustworthiness, and discretion
• Enjoyment of change processes as well as the further development of organisations and employees
• Entrepreneurial thinking and a strong desire to shape
• Strong understanding of the needs of an operationally oriented SME and enjoyment in not only developing processes conceptually but also implementing them practically together with employees
