Supervisor / Caregiver

Work deployment in shift work: With your work deployment in shift work, you ensure an orderly and safe operational process in the daily prison routine of the male/female and youth departments, remand detention and penal system.

Leading and caring for the admitted persons: Your tasks include leading and caring for the admitted persons who are in exceptional and stressful situations, taking into account the different nationalities, cultures and religions.

Not an everyday area of responsibility: Immediate and situation-appropriate intervention in special incidents as well as documenting the work (keeping observation and daily journals, preparing reports on special events) complete this area of responsibility.

Training to become a specialist in the penal system: After a one-year probation period, you will start at the earliest with the mandatory training to become a specialist in the penal system with a federal professional certificate. We cover all costs for the training.

Experience: For this unusual work, we expect high resilience, teamwork skills and experience in dealing with people from different cultures.

Personality: With assertiveness even in unfamiliar situations, open communication, conflict resolution skills and a confident personality, you can manage this interesting and demanding activity.

Education: You are at least 25 years old, have completed a 3-year vocational training or Matura and have an impeccable reputation.

Language: Good oral and written German skills (minimum level B2). Swiss German must be understood continuously. Foreign language skills are desirable.
