Communication Manager 80% (fixed-term February to July 2027)

For our Corporate Communications department, we are looking for a communicative personality as a Communication Manager with an 80% workload due to maternity cover from February to July 2027. As part of a well-coordinated and motivated team, you will work in a versatile environment with exciting topics around Zurich Airport. From aviation to international developments to projects across the entire company: you make relevant topics understandable and accessible for employees, media, and the public.

Your job destination

• You primarily manage communication topics in the areas of aviation and international affairs and support project communication in other business areas as needed
• You develop content for various internal and external channels and ensure that complex topics are communicated clearly, appropriately for the target audience, and appealingly
• Storytelling is your forte: for our employee magazine "Homebase", the airport newspaper "Startklar", the online magazine, and other publications, you create articles, portraits, and reports
• Speeches, texts, and presentations are created with your sensitivity for language and your ability to convey even complex content clearly and convincingly
• As part of our media team, you handle media enquiries and ensure professional and reliable communication
• Close collaboration with various specialist departments gives you a versatile insight into the thematic world of Flughafen Zürich AG and continually brings new communication tasks

Your skills in your luggage

• You have successfully completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on journalism, media studies, or communication
• You bring experience in writing different types of texts, creating appealing presentations, and corporate communications
• You are confident in the world of online media and digital tools and have a strong affinity for digital communication
• Strategically, target-group-appropriately, and convincingly communicating and presenting complex content is one of your strengths
• You keep an overview even in hectic situations and impress with initiative, an independent and careful working style, and a good eye for detail
• You bring curiosity and enthusiasm for diverse communication topics and are confident handling a camera for photo and video
