The U3 department of the Centre for Addiction Disorders (ZAE) of the Adult Clinic (UPKE) is aimed at people with an addiction to alcohol, cannabis and/or medication who require inpatient treatment as part of their illness. The treatment includes, in addition to physical withdrawal and therapy of comorbidities, a holistic, needs-oriented and integrated treatment. The goal is to maintain and improve health and quality of life.

What to expect

• As a key worker, you are the main contact person for patients during their stay. Together with the patients and the interdisciplinary team, you set goals and seek the best possible and individual solutions. In your role as key worker, you build a sustainable relationship and conduct key worker discussions several times a week. You organise your work according to the nursing process

• We support trainees and students in nursing professions and assist them in achieving their training goals

What distinguishes you

• You have a strong sense of responsibility, are sociable and possess high social competence
• You are open to our mindful and person-centred approach
• Diploma as a nurse HF/FH with proven expertise. For foreign nursing diplomas, SRK registration is a prerequisite. The costs are covered by UPK
• Experience in psychiatry or addiction care is an advantage
