Associate psychologist at the Brine Outpatient Clinic
We are looking for an associate psychologist (or one nearing completion of postgraduate training) at an 80% workload, on a permanent contract, for the Brine Outpatient Clinic of the University Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service (SUPEA) of the Psychiatry Department at CHUV. The starting date is scheduled for 1 August 2026 or as agreed.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The University Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service (SUPEA) provides psychiatric and psychotherapeutic follow-up for children and adolescents aged 0 to 18 from the Centre, North, and West regions of the canton of Vaud.
The Brine Outpatient Clinic is part of the General and Specialist Consultations division of the University Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service (SUPEA) and receives children and adolescents suffering from psychological difficulties, as well as their relatives.
The offered position allows the multidisciplinary team of the North sector (Yverdon-les-Bains) to be completed following the departure of the current incumbent.
Mission
- You participate in clinical activities and take charge of patients aged 0 to 18 registered at the clinic
- You participate in the supervision of team members (assistant doctors, assistant psychologists, and trainees) as well as in unit meetings
- You participate in training missions at SUPEA
- You ensure administrative follow-up related to the clinic.
Profile
- You hold a Master’s degree in psychology and a federal specialist psychologist title in psychotherapy from the OFSP; applications from psychologists nearing the end of postgraduate training are also welcome
- You have a cantonal practice permit
- You have experience in caring for children and adolescents
- You have good interpersonal skills and excellent collaboration abilities within a multidisciplinary team
- You have good knowledge of network work
- You are interested in sharing your knowledge through continuing education courses and supervision
Depending on the candidate’s profile, the salary scale will be between levels 11 and 12.
