Application Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Technical integration and support of purchased software solutions into the existing IT landscape
• Ensuring stable operation and technical availability of the supported applications
• Configuration, administration and troubleshooting of applications as well as their interfaces to surrounding systems
• Analysis and resolution of technical faults in the interaction of applications, operating systems, databases and middleware
• Work with Linux servers, Unix shell scripting and relational databases

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience as an IT integration specialist, application manager or in a comparable role with a focus on purchased software
• Good practical knowledge in handling Linux servers and Unix shell scripting
• Experience with databases and connecting applications to surrounding systems
• Experience in the technical integration, configuration and support of complex application landscapes
• Fluent German language skills

Advantageous

• Knowledge of IBM MQ Series, Oracle DB or PostgreSQL
• Experience with certificates as well as Enterprise Directory and Active Directory
• Knowledge of Podman, Keycloak or Karaf
• Programming or scripting skills in Perl or Python
• Experience with payment transaction solutions and standards such as EBICS, SWIFT, SIC or CLS
