For a service company in the Bern region, we are looking for a Payroll Specialist 80-100% starting 1 March 2027 or by arrangement. You can look forward to an exciting role with plenty of opportunities to shape your work in an environment that places great value on equality and diversity.

Your tasks with the new employer

• You will independently, accurately and punctually process the salaries for several hundred employees

• You will prepare withholding tax, social security and annual declarations and take responsibility for the year-end closing tasks

• You will independently prepare the monthly and annual accounts and coordinate these with the financial accounting department

• You will answer all salary-related enquiries

• You will prepare statistics, evaluations and reports, actively contribute to projects and regularly keep the HR documentation up to date

You offer your new employer

• You have a commercial basic education as well as further training as a payroll expert and/or social insurance specialist

• You have several years of experience in payroll processing and sound knowledge of social insurance and withholding tax law

• You are proficient in using Abacus and MS Office and bring experience in process optimisation

• A careful, efficient working style and a strong sense of responsibility are natural to you

• You communicate confidently in German and have good knowledge of French or Italian
