Plastics Technologist for Injection Moulding Process Engineering (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Planning and professional execution of sampling in cooperation with the Head of Process Engineering, the Head of Production from preparation to implementation
• Continuous improvement of injection moulding processes and workflows with a focus on quality, process reliability, cycle time, and cost-effectiveness, especially using systematic and computer-aided methods
• Setup and monitoring of processes for parts with increased quality requirements or safety-critical products
• Creation and maintenance of manufacturing documents, production papers, and work instructions for series production as well as management, control, and safeguarding of all machine setting data
• Participation in quotations and projects as well as support in the development and implementation of new tools
• Optimisation of work documents and information flows between the involved departments as well as proactive communication of relevant information

Your Profile

• Completed apprenticeship as a plastics technologist
• Several years of experience and sound knowledge in the plastics industry
• Additional training or practical knowledge in mechanics and/or toolmaking is an advantage
• Ideally knowledge of ISO/TS 16949, APQP, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and Global 8D
• Team-oriented, self-reflective, and solution-focused with a motivating role model function
• Independent, structured, and reliable with strong organisational skills
