To strengthen our team in the Manufacturing and Process Technology (MPT) area within Technical Operations (TechOps), we are seeking a committed individual as Expert Process Specialist Manufacturing & Process Technology - Sisslerfeld Site Development (a) 100%.

Your responsibilities:

• Supporting the Head MPT Sisslerfeld in building a local MPT team in Stein within the global MPT organisation
• Contributing to the development of MPT business processes as part of the site development
• Collaborating and coordinating the team in establishing and continuously improving (MPT) processes, standards, and KPIs
• Reporting to the Head MPT Sisslerfeld and cooperating professionally with the Head of TechOps Sisslerfeld, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing
• Developing user requirements together with the future operator and ensuring their correct and GMP-compliant implementation in all design phases of the project, focusing on downstream and dispensation
• Creating, reviewing, and/or revising POLs (Policies), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and WOIs (Work Instructions)
• Providing professional support in planning and implementing cleaning validations
• Acting as contact person / SME for Manufacturing and Materials Management regarding process technology questions, deviations, and implementation of CAPA measures
• Supporting audits on MPT-specific topics such as qualification, validation, and/or documentation
• Contributing to strengthening the GMP and HSE culture within the team and production environment

Your profile:

• Completed studies in chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, biotechnology, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment, ideally peptide synthesis as well as API purification and isolation
• Proven expertise in process engineering and plant design as well as deep understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g. ICH Q7, FDA, EMA)
• High motivation and initiative to participate in a project for establishing a new site
• Structured, precise, and quality-conscious working style with high standards for documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement
• Independent and solution-oriented working approach as well as the ability to develop pragmatic solutions in complex or unclear situations
