Information about the apprenticeship:

• At KIGA Baselland you will complete a commercial apprenticeship according to the training and examination sector Public Administration and attend the commercial vocational school in Liestal.
• Thanks to a clearly structured training at modern workplaces, you will get to know the professional practice in various departments.
• Our motivated and committed practical trainers will teach you the skills for the learning and performance objectives so that you successfully complete the apprenticeship after three years.

You bring with you:

• Very good school performance in the subjects German, Mathematics, French and English
• At least secondary school leaving certificate level E
• Very good oral and written expression
• Knowledge of MS Office applications as well as fast typing with the ten-finger system
• Organisational talent, willingness to perform and learn, precise way of working
• Responsible, reliable and team-oriented personality with good manners

The Cantonal Office for Industry, Trade and Labour (KIGA) is a department of the Department of Economic and Health Affairs of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft. As a public service provider, whose main tasks lie in the areas of labour market, industry, trade and commerce but also in consumer protection and housing promotion, it is located at one of the central interfaces of social and economic life.
