We, the emotion company, are a creative full-service agency for emotion marketing and events.
We develop and realise events, programmable competitions, experience worlds and extraordinary decorations for our clients. What looks playful and perfectly staged at an event requires professional preparation, functioning equipment, well-thought-out logistics and people who pitch in and take responsibility behind the scenes.
We are looking for reinforcement exactly in this area.
Tasks
You take responsibility for the operational and technical implementation of our event projects.
From preparation in the warehouse through logistics and setup on site to the return and maintenance of the equipment. We are looking for real rockstars; versatile, motivated and ready to pitch in wherever the action is! 🤘
Event Implementation & Project Management
- You plan the operational implementation of our events and projects.
- You prepare setups and teardowns and coordinate them.
- You are on site at events and help out yourself.
- You coordinate external partners, technicians and helpers.
- You ensure that equipment, vehicles, tools and aids are at the right place at the right time.
- You find pragmatic solutions when something on site does not go as planned.
- You build and conscientiously manage a pool of staff for event implementation.
Craft & Development
This area is particularly important to us:
- You repair and optimise existing event equipment.
- You develop new solutions together with our creative team, build prototypes, event elements and special constructions.
- You think along and find solutions to make constructions simpler, more stable, more transportable and more efficient.
Event Equipment & Warehouse
- You are responsible for order and structure of our event and decoration warehouse.
- You organise the provision as well as the storage and retrieval of event equipment.
- You check, clean, maintain and repair our equipment.
- You ensure readiness for use and organise consumables and spare materials.
Event Logistics & Vehicles
- You plan transports and material movements.
- You organise the loading and unloading of our vehicles.
- You ensure safe and efficient loading.
- You take care of our event vehicles and their readiness for use.
- You continuously optimise our logistical processes.
Qualification
Your Profile
- You are an open, curious and solution-oriented personality with a creative mind.
- You are a team player through and through – friendly, service-oriented, conscientious and committed.
- You are a doer and see work before it needs to be explained to you.
- You enjoy turning an idea into something real.
- You have manual skills or a basic craft training and willingness to take on craft tasks. Ideally, a basic training such as: carpenter · joiner · electrician · metalworker · event technician · mechanic or a comparable craft profession.
- You have a quick grasp and complete tasks in a structured, swift and clean manner.
- You can organise and pitch in yourself at the same time.
- You like to take responsibility and work independently, structured and reliably.
- You have a good technical and manual understanding and are solution-oriented; improvising is also part of it for you when necessary.
- You handle materials, tools and vehicles carefully.
- You enjoy working in a small team with short decision-making paths.
- Flexibility is a must for us: you are willing to work evenings and weekends depending on the event.
- You hold a driving licence category B. Trailer test and forklift licence are advantageous.
- First experience in the event industry is a plus – but not a must. Much more important to us is your craft background and your personality.
