Pallas Kliniken AG is the leading clinic group for ophthalmology and dermatology in Switzerland. At numerous locations, we rely on modern, digitally supported processes to provide our patients with first-class medical care. Our IT landscape combines classic infrastructure with clinical specialist applications (KIS/PIS), cloud services, and high regulatory requirements for data protection and information security in healthcare.
To strengthen our ICT team at the headquarters in Olten, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed, service- and solution-oriented individual as an Application Manager who is responsible for the smooth operation and continuous development of our clinical information system (KIS/PIS).
Application Manager KIS/PIS (80-100%)
Tasks
- Operation and further development of the patient data management system (KIS / PIS)
- Customising and configuration of user interfaces for documenting patient data
- Monitoring system availability, troubleshooting, and communication with the software manufacturer
- Ensuring data security and compliance with data protection regulations
- Coordination of updates and adjustments according to clinical requirements
- Connecting medical devices to the KIS / PIS
- Participation in projects in the PDMS environment (e.g. further rollouts and extensive further developments)
- User support at 2nd level as well as coordination of 3rd-level support from suppliers
Job Requirements
- Education or training in the field of computer science
- Confident handling of database-supported applications
- Knowledge of servers, interfaces, and databases desirable
- Knowledge of SQL, PowerShell, and C# desirable
- Professional experience in healthcare an advantage
- Independent, reliable, precise, and solution-oriented working style as well as strong team and communication skills
- Willingness to perform on-call duties after a thorough induction period
- Very good oral and written German skills; good English skills an advantage
