As an Infrastructure Engineer, you are part of a small, efficient team and share responsibility for IT and technology across several locations. Complex infrastructures fascinate you, and you ensure that server environments, networks, and cloud services run reliably. Your efforts contribute directly to a professional production and broadcasting operation. Even in hectic moments, you keep an overview and tackle problems where they arise.
Responsibilities:
You manage server environments, network components, as well as storage and backup systems, and continuously develop these, including cloud services such as Microsoft 365 (M365).
You independently analyse complex faults and find sustainable solutions during ongoing operations.
You continuously monitor service quality and optimise effectiveness and efficiency.
Maintenance and documentation of IT infrastructures and applications are your responsibility.
You also take on occasional on-call duties and are responsible for incident and change management up to 2nd level.
Additionally, you coordinate IT projects, lead external partners professionally, and support IT during external deployments and events.
Qualifications:
You have completed IT training and bring practical experience.
Sound knowledge of network technologies, client, server, and database architectures characterises you.
You have experience in engineering and 2nd level support of larger ICT infrastructures, such as virtualisation solutions, enterprise storage, or Active Directory.
Communication skills and enjoyment in dealing with users and customers complete your profile.
You work reliably, resiliently, and precisely, even under time pressure.
You also bring a high level of commitment and are open to occasional assignments outside office hours. Knowledge in the broadcast sector is an advantage.
