Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Architect / Project Manager Building Construction (80-100%) for the holistic handling and management of demanding construction projects. You will accompany projects from the initial idea through design, building application and execution planning to construction management and handover and take on comprehensive planning responsibility. In addition to coordinating authorities, specialist planners and companies, you will advise the client and manage costs, deadlines and quality. The position combines architecture, project management and realisation and enables the supervision of construction projects across all relevant SIA phases.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and handling of architecture and building construction projects across all relevant SIA phases
Development and further processing of design, project and execution plans
Preparation of building applications, building submission plans and building law documents
Handling and coordination of approval procedures with municipalities and cantonal authorities
Creation of execution, work and detail plans using ArchiCAD and/or Vectorworks
Coordination of specialist planners, specialists, authorities and executing companies
Preparation and implementation of tenders, submissions and awards
Taking on tasks in local construction management and site coordination
Responsibility for cost, schedule and quality control during planning and realisation
Review of offers, contractor services, change orders and invoices
Advising and supporting the client in planning, technical and economic decisions
Organisation of acceptances, defect rectification and project handover
Qualifications:
Completed studies in architecture at FH, ETH or university level
Several years of professional experience in Swiss architecture and building construction planning
Sound knowledge in design, execution planning, tendering and construction management
Good knowledge of Swiss building and planning law, ideally experience in the Canton of Bern
Confident handling of ArchiCAD and/or Vectorworks
Good knowledge of Swiss SIA phases, standards and approval procedures
Very good German language skills spoken and written
