About the job
Introduction
The Adliswil school accompanies and educates children from kindergarten through primary to secondary level. A total of around 2,000 students attend the city’s schools. For this responsible task, around 500 employees are engaged in seven school buildings as well as in various specialized services. Currently, around 50% of all school children use the school-based supplementary care offer.
The school-based supplementary care complements teaching through relationship work, presence, and support in everyday life. This also includes eating together, which is consciously designed as a social and educational moment.
At the Sonnenberg and Hofern locations, children and young people from kindergarten to secondary level (approx. 5–15 years) are cared for. In total, around 150 children and young people are accompanied in five groups during lunch and afternoon care.

Substitute Employees for Lunch Supervision
As a substitute, you work on a contractual basis and are deployed as needed – for example, in case of short-term absences, illness-related absences, or planned substitutions. Deployments are irregular and flexible.
The workload is variable; you will be deployed according to need. The main deployment times are Monday to Friday, from approx. 11:15 / 11:30 to 14:00 (lunch supervision). Additional deployments are possible in afternoon care (from 14:00 to 18:00). Deployments are arranged by agreement and can also be requested at short notice.
This position is especially suitable for people who are flexibly deployable and enjoy varied assignments.
You bring
You enjoy working with children and young people and have experience in childcare. As a substitute, you support the group leaders and the kitchen team as needed and take on short-term or planned substitutions.
Your German is confident and clear. Flexibility, resilience, patience, and teamwork characterize you. An additional interest in nutrition and health is an advantage.
