About the job
The Storage and Backup sector of our client’s IT Systems service is looking to strengthen its team with a service manager responsible for overseeing the Storage and Backup support services. Full-time position, starting no later than September 2026.
Tasks
Establish and manage the roadmap for the services under management
Ensure the implementation of security directives and internal processes to deliver quality results
Prepare and lead operational committees with users and partners
Participate in projects impacting the services under management
Develop and maintain indicators on the services delivered
Keep configuration items up to date in the repositories (CMDB, service catalogue)
Communicate about the service, its objectives, service levels and scope
Conduct risk reviews and define mitigation plans
Identify evolution needs, anticipate changes and support their implementation
Requirements
HES diploma, computer science degree, EPF or federal diploma; ITIL V3 certification minimum mandatory
3 years or more experience in IT product or service management, ideally in a complex or regulated environment
Experience on at least one project with multidisciplinary technical teams
Operational mastery of ITIL best practices (incidents, changes, SLA)
Strong technological knowledge in storage and backup
Proven experience in coordinating complex incidents and managing operational risks
Organisation of cross-functional team work in a matrix environment; management and reporting; participation in audits
Appreciation of criticality, data protection, roadmaps, solution costing, SLA negotiation, public procurement (AIMP)
Leadership, service orientation, excellent written and oral communication in French, synthesis skills
