Occupational Therapist within the Care Directorate
CHUV is seeking an occupational therapist for its mobile team of the Occupational Therapy Service, at a workload between 80% and 100%, on a permanent contract, for a start date of 1 July 2026 or to be agreed.
In this role, you will work in periods of about 3 months in different units of CHUV, notably in paediatrics, neurology and geriatrics.
Context
The Occupational Therapy Service contributes to the three main missions of CHUV: care services, training and research. It includes various units (musculoskeletal department, hand centre, paediatrics, neuro-rehabilitation and geriatrics).
To meet the needs of the different units, the Occupational Therapy Service develops a mobile team intervening within several clinical sectors according to institutional needs.
Mission
- You contribute to care, training and research, in accordance with CHUV's triple mission
- You work successively within different units of CHUV, notably in paediatrics, neurology and geriatrics, with the aim of assessing, guiding and initiating rehabilitation and re-education
- You carry out occupational therapy interventions with a varied patient group, according to the field of practice
- You promote, in partnership with the person, their relatives and interdisciplinary teams, the patient’s engagement in their activities and participation in daily life throughout their care pathway
- You actively contribute to the quality and safety of services, in an approach of harmonisation, development and promotion of professional practices.
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy or an equivalent recognised qualification
- You demonstrate good integration skills and appreciate working in an interdisciplinary team
- You show versatility, flexibility and a strong capacity to adapt in varied clinical environments.
Depending on the candidate’s profile, the salary scale is between 8 and 9.
