Application Manager (m/f/d) 100%
Your tasks
Operation & further development of Winsure
- You ensure the stable and reliable operation of our core system Winsure.
- You continuously develop the application together with the specialist departments.
- You maintain and optimise Oracle and SQL databases and efficiently resolve faults.
- You are responsible for the operation of the batch manager.
- You create and maintain Crystal Reports.
Interfaces & surrounding systems
- You develop, maintain and optimise interfaces to internal and external systems.
- You analyse errors and ensure sustainable solutions.
- You maintain and optimise data connections in our BI system Qlik.
Development & customising
- You take technical responsibility for releases and further developments of Winsure as well as the connected surrounding systems.
- You configure and personalise existing modules such as Crystal Reports and Qlik dashboards.
- You develop and maintain APIs as well as ETL processes and drive automation forward.
Your skills
- Diploma as an IT specialist HF or a comparable IT qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience as an Application Manager, Software Developer or DevOps Engineer
- Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage
- Experience in the support and further development of business applications such as Winsure, Qlik, D3, Sumex or comparable solutions
- Good programming skills in Python, JavaScript, PowerShell and/or shell scripting
- Good knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server as well as Linux and Microsoft servers
- Experience in the development and integration of REST/Graph APIs as well as ETL processes
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub as well as Jira and Confluence
- Independent, structured and responsible way of working
- Analytical thinking and a solution-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly
- Fluent German skills, English skills are an advantage
