What you can achieve

• Development and implementation of test strategies, test concepts and test plans for electronic devices, including tactical communication
• Creation and maintenance of automated test environments and test software
• Industrialisation of self-developed prototypes
• Fault analysis in prototypes and development of corresponding solutions
• Managing obsolescence in series products: checking component availability, finding replacement solutions and tracking implementation
• Collaboration with production for continuous improvement of product quality of existing and new systems

What you bring with you

• Completed FH/ETH degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
• Solid knowledge in hardware development, ideally in the field of digital communication, design-for-test and design-for-manufacturing
• Several years of experience with test automation, measurement technology and test software (e.g. LabVIEW, Python, C/C++)
• Systematic fault analysis and troubleshooting at component and system level
• Quick understanding of the architecture and functionality of devices and systems as well as working with data
• Knowledge in the areas of circuit technology, signal processing and test systems
• Hands-on mentality, pragmatic and result-oriented, with very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form
• Strong communication and team skills, combined with an independent, structured and proactive working style

About the department

We are the hardware product development department and develop modern communication devices and systems. Our work begins with analysing and specifying customer requirements as well as creating initial concepts. Based on this, we develop prototypes, take over their assembly and conduct comprehensive commissioning tests. Our goal is to turn an idea into a series-ready product – from the first sketch to successful introduction into series production. We are an interdisciplinary team with diverse skills, united by enthusiasm for technology and joy in challenges.
