- German (Fluent), English (Intermediate), French (Basic knowledge)
About the job
At the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation (SIHF), you take responsibility for the people behind Swiss ice hockey.
In this role, you combine reliable day-to-day HR operations with the further development of the HR department. Leadership, culture, and modern processes are just as central as the personal advice to our employees.
These are your tasks
- Design and management of personnel work along the entire employee lifecycle – from recruitment to exit.
- Overall responsibility for payroll accounting in Abacus, including hands-on involvement in payroll processing and ensuring accurate and timely settlements.
- Ensuring a solid training of apprentices as well as supporting their professional and personal development as a vocational trainer.
- Budget and forecast responsibility for the HR area, including monitoring and compliance with budget guidelines.
- Advising and supporting managers and employees in all HR matters.
- Further development of organisational and leadership culture together with the management.
- Optimisation and digitalisation of HR processes, targeted use of Abacus capabilities, and further development of HR instruments and regulations.
What you bring with you
- A federal diploma as an HR specialist or an equivalent qualification as well as several years of experience in a broad HR function, ideally with leadership responsibility.
- Solid Abacus knowledge and practical experience in independent payroll processing with Abacus are essential. Further training in payroll is an advantage.
- Confident knowledge of Swiss labour law, social security, and withholding tax.
- A completed vocational trainer course and proven experience in supporting and promoting apprentices.
- Experience in optimising HR processes and implementing changes.
- You think entrepreneurially, have a good sense for people, and communicate clearly. You act reliably and discreetly, carefully weigh different interests, and find sustainable solutions. You also keep an overview in day-to-day operations.
- Very good German skills and good English skills; French skills are an advantage.
What you can look forward to
- Lots of personal responsibility, scope for design, and short decision-making paths.
- Five weeks of holiday and the possibility to work from home.
- A parking space at the workplace in Glattbrugg.
- A motivated team with great passion for sport and regular employee events.
Your experience counts

and briefly answer these questions:

- Which tasks in Abacus do you handle independently, and which processes have you improved or digitalised with it?
