Social Worker I (option: social assistant) part-time (50%)

Class and annual salary (including 13th month):

6 68,456.-- / 107,475.--

Tasks:

• personally takes on cases requiring specific interventions related to their role and assumes tasks independently or in collaboration with other CARL team members
• in coordination with other key figures, procures resources and organises interventions to ensure the person’s well-being, preserving and, if possible, enhancing their individual autonomy
• collaborates with operators, families, institutions, services and other relevant figures involved in the person’s care
• promotes integrated home care where provided for in individual plans
• coordinates their activity with institutions operating in the territory and requests the involvement of private or public services when necessary
• implements rehabilitative and socio-educational interventions functional to existential work in collaboration with the various CARL teams
• participates in the CARL Management Board and is responsible for implementing decisions within their competence

Requirements:

• SUP diploma as social worker (option: social assistant) or equivalent qualification
• knowledge of the territory, institutions and the social-health network of the Canton of Ticino, particularly social services and regional protection authorities
• skills in administrative and procedural management of socio-educational pathways, including collaboration with external services, institutions and social insurance
• good knowledge of community psychiatry principles and socio-educational and rehabilitative intervention models aimed at comprehensive care of the person
• ability to take on and manage cases requiring specific social assistant interventions, both independently and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• ability to coordinate interventions and resources in the territory, activating and maintaining an effective network with public and private entities involved in care
• teamwork attitude, analytical skills, ability to discuss and integrate their intervention with that of various professionals
• relational skills, empathy and appropriate communication skills to work with users, families and reference networks, even in situations of fragility or crisis
• ability to participate in the development, implementation and review of individual development plans, contributing to defining needs and socio-educational and rehabilitative support interventions
• excellent knowledge of Italian (speaking and writing) and good knowledge (speaking) of at least one other official language

• availability of the candidate to work shifts that are not always regular

Employment conditions:

• appointment or assignment: as provided by the Law on the organisation of State employees and teachers of 15 March 1995 (LORD) and the related Regulation. Any changes in law concerning salary and organisation are explicitly reserved
• working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
