WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Test Planner (m/f/d) in the Industrialisation team, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards for safety-critical components and systems in air defence. You plan, document, and coordinate all test-relevant measures along the manufacturing and assembly processes.
Your goal is to ensure a robust supply chain through an appropriate measurement and testing strategy – from initial sample testing to series release – while adhering to the highest military and industrial standards.
Specifically, you will take on the following tasks:
- Responsibility for and coordination of test planning and measurement strategy with internal and external process participants (manufacturing, metrology, suppliers, customer representatives, etc.)
- Analysing and optimising assemblies and individual parts regarding testability and measurability, measurement repeatability, and the optimal type of process control (e.g. in-line, incoming goods, at the supplier)
- Creating and revising test plans, drawings, and instructions with corresponding data maintenance in SAP in the MM & QM modules
- Supporting the organisation through corrective and preventive quality assurance measures such as selecting suitable test and measuring equipment, initial sampling and initial sample test reports, root cause analyses, handling NCR, audits, etc.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
- Completed technical training with further education as a technician (m/f/d) or a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, or comparable
- Several years of experience in test planning in an industrial environment, ideally in the defence, aviation, or high-tech sector
- Knowledge in creating test plans and test programmes for mechanical, electrical, and electronic components
- Confident handling of technical drawings, tolerances, and measurement systems (3D metrology advantageous)
- Knowledge of relevant standards: EN 9100, AQAP 2110, MIL-STD, STANAG
- Experience with CAQ, ERP, and PLM systems
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Security clearance Ü1/Ü2 (or willingness to undergo)
WHAT WE OFFER YOU
- Completed training as a polymechanic or comparable
- Completed higher education HF or degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable
- Further training in metrology according to AUKOM and ISO GPS
- Several years of professional experience in creating test plans for mechanical, electrical, or electronic components
- Knowledge of CAx, ERP, and PLM systems; knowledge of military quality standards advantageous
- Good communication skills in German (C1) and English (B2)
- Security clearance (Ü1/Ü2) or willingness to undergo
