About the job

In this varied role, you will lead the Transport group with 9 directly subordinate employees, be the process owner of all transport-specific procedures, and bear responsibility for the reliable transport of our employees to the respective donation locations. In addition, you ensure that blood collections and materials arrive at the right place at the right time.

What you can achieve

• Technical, administrative and personnel management of the Transport group
• Ensuring personnel and material transports for the Mobile Blood Donation campaigns
• Responsible for deliveries of blood products to regional hospitals as well as for the collection of goods and blood at our blood donation centres
• Planning and monitoring of the various routes taking into account the applicable legal regulations
• Ensuring the operational readiness of the vehicle fleet
• Monitoring and steering of processes according to GMP requirements
• Contact person for quality matters and leading specialist projects
• Taking on individual routes if required

What you bring with you

• Basic craft or technical training in the automotive trade. A commercial diploma and initial leadership experience are advantageous
• Driving licence category C1E and D1E (CZV) as well as a safe and calm driving style
• Strong communication skills in German and French
• Independent, reliable and responsible working style and a very high quality awareness
• Enjoyment of working in a structured environment (GMP experience is an advantage)
• High organisational skills as well as good MS Office knowledge
• Flexibility for occasional assumption of routes with varying working hours
